Using various databases (alumni, professional directories) and platforms (LinkedIn, etc.) student-athletes will develop a strategy to identify and create a network that exposes and aligns them to career opportunities in their field of study, the sports industry and via non-traditional paths.
Through Aspirational Mapping, student-athletes link their personal passions and goals with opportunities that match in, out and adjacent to the business of sports.
Based on the value of their scholarship, student-athletes will establish monthly and annual budgets and will monitor spending. Based on how well finances are managed, they will work in a virtual application and make personal financial choices to Save, Give, Spend or Invest. Each choice comes with additional tips and lessons to advise consequences and progress.
Student-athletes will complete personal financial management lessons at a pace that mirrors their level of aptitude.
